Tips for A Youthful Appearance

Are you stressed out? Are you stuck in a routine that consists of you on the go 24/7 working, taking care of the kids, the house and the bills? These types of things can trigger aging at a more rapid pace. Cold weather also takes a toll on our skin as it looses its moisture and causes premature wrinkles. So it is important to take care of your skin even beginning in your twenties. Get a routine down where you moisturize regularly in the morning and in the evening. I like to moisturize in the same routine as I brush my teeth, that way I never forget. Most over the counter products can be really pricey as far as reducing the appearance of wrinkles, uneven skin tone and blemishes, not to mention unnatural. These products can also take a toll on pores by clogging them and preventing your body to eliminate toxins freely. The use of these products usually result in acne breakouts, allergies, and inflamed or irritated skin due to trapped toxins.

Want Rejuvenated Skin Naturally? Try this Recipe!

What are essential oils?
Essential oils are extracted from various parts of a plant using a distillation method. Essential oils are not actually oils, but are rather concentrated liquid forms of the plant from which they were extracted. They can be used by massaging directly on the skin or diffusing the oil into the air to allow it to enter the body though the lungs. Oils are used for a variety of things, there are even essential oils for back pain and acne.

Essential oils can be used as singles or blends. Single oil is one specific oil, for instance, rosewood or gentle baby. Blends are mixtures of two or more single oils.

The way they work?
  • Pass easily through our skin and cell membranes
  • Diffuse through the entire body within a ½ hour
  • Go directly to the brain through the olfactory bulb
  • Affect our feelings and thoughts through our sense of smell since it is our most emotional sense
  • Perform multiple functions because of their structural complexity

If you are looking for a natural way to restore a youthful appearance, I would recommend essential oils as your daily practice. The following blend will help enhance your skin by evening skin tone, minimizing wrinkles such as crow’s feet, and help reduce the appearance of scars and stretch marks. All oils bring oxygen to tissue to promote healthy cells. A single oil can benefit you physically, emotionally, and mentally in more than one way or one area of treatment.
